Contests

Bluegrass Championship Dates State contests for Mandolin, Guitar and Banjo are held during the free Pearl Bluegrass Jam and Stage Show Weekends at the Pearl Community Center in Pearl Texas.

First place prizes: – First place in the mandolin or banjo contest is $1000, First place in the guitar contest wins Robertson Guitar. All First place winners receive free entry to Winfield National competition and Festival.

Other prizes in all contests: second place $500, third place $300, fourth place $200, fifth $100.

Open to all Texas Residents.

Master Class Bluegrass Workshops

Instrument workshops with master instructors are presented on Fridays, 3:30pm to 8pm, before each Texas State Championship date. Cost - $25 - Includes supper.
